Key Findings for October 2022
October’s top values look like a greatest-hits album with no remixes: the top 10 barely moves in positions, with just Love passing Pleasure and Security returning at 10th, suggesting a month of unusually consistent priorities rather than trend-chasing. The list is dominated by “keep life steady” themes—Health, Family, Trust, Peace, Financial stability, Security—with “make life enjoyable” themes—Love, Pleasure, Freedom, Respect—rounding it out.
By share of all 30,396 tests, Health leads at about 47%, with Family close behind at 43%. A tight middle pack follows: Trust (~38%) and Peace (~38%) are nearly tied, then Financial stability (~34%). The bottom of the top 10 still pulls serious weight: Security shows up in roughly 27% of tests, so even “10th place” is a big deal.
Almost nothing moved in positions, which is the story: stability itself. This reads like people were prioritizing resilience—protect the body, protect the household, protect the vibe, protect the wallet.
Seasonally, October often kicks off “winter-prep mode,” and the lineup fits: fewer bold experiments, more comfort, safety, and calm—plus just enough Pleasure to keep it human.
