Using personalvalues has been a very meaningful experience for me. It gave me the space to pause and really think about what matters most to me not just in my professional life, but also in how I show up every day. Identifying my core values such as peace, discipline, tradition, accountability, respect, appreciation, uniqueness, loyalty, growth, and determination helped me better understand the principles that guide my decisions and relationships. One positive experience I’ve had is seeing how these values connect across different areas of my life. For example, discipline and determination motivate me to stay focused on long-term goals, while peace and respect remind me to approach others with empathy and patience. I’ve also noticed that reflecting on accountability and loyalty helps me strengthen the trust I build with colleagues and friends. What I appreciate most about the tool is how it makes abstract ideas feel concrete. By naming and reflecting on my values, I’ve been able to align my actions more closely with what I stand for. This process has not only boosted my self-awareness but also given me clarity about the kind of professional and person I strive to be.
Personal Values has helped me understand how to better relate and communicate with others. I’ve had experiences where disagreements arose, but through peaceful communication, we were able to reach mutual understanding and respect without escalating the situation.
